Ultrasonic cleaners are generally divided into three categories:
Mini Type: These are lightweight cleaners designed for tasks like cleaning contact lenses. They use small transducers and basic generators, making them unsuitable for demanding cleaning jobs.
Dental and Lab Tabletop Cleaners: These units are equipped with larger transducers and more advanced generators, making them effective for cleaning small parts and laboratory glassware.
Industrial Heavy-Duty Cleaners: These robust cleaners feature high-capacity transducers and durable generators capable of producing significant power. They are ideal for production cleaning and are constructed with heavy-duty 304 or 316L stainless steel tanks, complete with overflow and drainage systems. Our KR series falls into this category.
The choice of ultrasonic frequency depends on the material and type of contaminants being cleaned. Most ultrasonic cleaners operate between 20 kHz and 120 kHz:
Lower frequencies (e.g., 20-40 kHz): Produce larger cavitation bubbles and provide more aggressive cleaning, ideal for removing tough residues like lapping compounds from durable metals.
Higher frequencies (e.g., above 80 kHz): Create finer bubbles, making them suitable for delicate items such as jewelry or polished soft metals.
Frequency: Select the appropriate ultrasonic frequency based on the cleaning task.
Tank Size: Ensure the cleaning tank is larger than the items being cleaned.
Core Component: The ultrasonic transducer is the key element; its quality significantly affects the cleaner's lifespan and performance.
Power: The cleaning power should match the volume of cleaning solution. Most ultrasonic cleaners operate at 50-100 watts per gallon, with higher power enabling faster and more efficient cleaning
